We're based in Wrocław, Poland — one of the country's fastest-growing cities and a major economic hub. This location gives us direct access to Polish business culture, consumer trends, and market dynamics. We're ideally positioned to be your Polish business partner.
Absolutely. Many of our clients have ongoing translation needs for product updates, content marketing, documentation, or customer communications. We offer retainer arrangements with dedicated account management, priority turnaround, and predictable monthly costs. This makes it easy to build language services into your operations.
Polish has 7 grammatical cases, complex verb conjugations, three grammatical genders, and strict punctuation rules. Even native speakers frequently make mistakes with case endings, comma placement, and gender agreement. This complexity is why professional translation and proofreading are essential for business-critical content. Polish people are famous for being particular about grammar.
We work with both businesses and individuals. While much of our work is for companies entering the Polish market, we also help individuals who need sworn translations of personal documents (birth certificates, diplomas, etc.), immigration paperwork, or other translation services. Everyone gets the same quality and personalized attention.
We specialize in Polish and translate from/to most world languages including English, German, French, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, Italian, and more. While Polish is our core expertise with 100% in-house native linguists, we can coordinate other language pairs through our trusted partner network. Contact us for specific language combinations.

We don't just translate words—we adapt your entire web presence for the Polish market.
Yes. We conduct Polish keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Senuto (Poland's leading SEO tool), and Ahrefs. We understand Polish search behavior and can write SEO-optimized content from scratch or optimize existing content. We know the difference between local vs. international query patterns in Poland.

We offer bilingual proofreading (comparing against source) and monolingual proofreading (Polish-only review). We'll catch grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and cultural issues that automated tools miss.
Translation converts text from one language to another. Localization adapts content for a specific market—including cultural nuances, local preferences, date/time formats, currency, units of measurement, imagery, and messaging that resonates with Polish audiences. Localization is essential for marketing, e-commerce, and user-facing content.

Pricing & Process

Pricing depends on word count, language pair, content complexity, deadline, and service type (translation, localization, sworn translation, etc.). We provide clear quotes before starting work. For ongoing projects or agency partnerships, we offer volume discounts and retainer arrangements. Contact us for a custom quote.
Timeline depends on project size and complexity. Standard documents (up to 5,000 words) are typically returned within 24-48 hours. Larger projects or website localization may take several days to weeks. We can accommodate rush requests—just let us know your deadline when requesting a quote.
Request a quote through our website or email us directly at hello@aploqtranslations.com. Provide: source documents or content description, target language (usually Polish), deadline, and any specific requirements. We'll respond with a quote and timeline. Once approved, we begin work immediately.
Yes. We offer preferential rates for agencies with regular volume or retainer arrangements. We can set up monthly retainers for a certain number of words, giving you predictable costs and priority turnaround. We also offer volume discounts for large one-time projects. Contact us to discuss partnership options.
We work with all common formats: Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF, HTML, XML, JSON, .properties files, Adobe InDesign, and more. For software localization, we support standard formats like XLIFF, PO, JSON, and platform-specific formats for tools like Phrase, Crowdin, and Lokalise.
We don't have a strict minimum, but we may apply minimum charges for very small projects (under 500 words) to account for setup and QA time. For ongoing relationships with regular small projects, we can waive minimums. Contact us to discuss your specific needs — we're flexible.
For larger projects or potential long-term partnerships, we can provide a paid sample translation (200-300 words) at our standard rates. This allows you to evaluate our quality before committing to a full project. We find this works better than free samples, as it ensures we assign appropriate resources.
You send us your files, we analyze them and send a detailed quote. After approval, your project goes through our multi-step workflow: expert translation by a specialist linguist, independent revision by a second reviewer, and final QA team check for consistency and quality. You receive the completed translation with our quality guarantee and post-delivery support.
Of course! We offer post-delivery support to ensure you're fully satisfied with the final result. If you need adjustments, clarifications, or have questions about specific translations, we'll address them promptly at no additional charge. Our goal is your complete satisfaction with the work.

Quality & Delivery

This allows you to review changes, accept or reject individual edits, and learn from corrections. For translations, we can provide bilingual review files if requested.
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied, we'll revise the translation at no additional cost until you're happy. Our goal is to deliver translations that meet your expectations and serve your business needs. We welcome feedback and use it to continuously improve.

Technical

For large-scale projects, we may use machine translation as a foundation, but always with professional post-editing and linguistic review. Raw MT is never delivered to clients. For marketing, legal, medical, or brand-critical content, we use human translation from scratch. We're transparent about our approach and always prioritize quality.
We work with all major platforms: Trados Studio, memoQ, Phrase, Crowdin, Lokalise, Smartling, XTM Cloud, Memsource, Transifex, POEditor, and Weblate. We can also handle custom formats and integrate with your existing workflow. Our team is experienced with both cloud-based and desktop CAT tools.
Yes. We can integrate with popular CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful, Drupal), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento), and version control systems (GitHub, GitLab). We're experienced with API-based workflows and continuous localization for agile development teams.

These glossaries are used by all linguists working on your content and are enforced through our CAT tools. We also perform consistency checks during QA to ensure terminology alignment.
Yes. We can set up API integrations with platforms like Phrase, Crowdin, or Lokalise for automated content sync. When you update source content, it's automatically sent for translation and returned to your system. This is ideal for SaaS companies with frequent releases or content updates.
Polish uses special characters (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż) that must be properly encoded. We ensure UTF-8 encoding in all deliverables and test that characters display correctly in your system. We also verify that fonts support Polish characters and that line breaks and hyphenation work correctly.

Sworn Translations

A sworn (or certified) translation is an official translation with full legal force. In Poland, these are performed only by translators accredited by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The translation has the same legal validity as the original document and is recognized by all Polish government institutions and courts.
Sworn translations are typically required for official submissions: birth/marriage/death certificates, diplomas and academic transcripts, contracts and legal documents, court documents, immigration documents, corporate documents (articles of association, financial statements), and powers of attorney. Always verify requirements with the institution requesting the translation.
Standard documents (1-2 pages) typically take 1-3 business days. Larger or complex documents may take longer. Rush service is available for an additional fee. You can receive sworn translations as paper documents by mail or as PDF files with qualified electronic signatures (legally valid in Poland and the EU).
Not automatically. Depending on the country and institution, you may need: an apostille (for Hague Convention countries), legalization (for other countries), or a translation by a local sworn translator in the target country. Always verify requirements with the institution or embassy where you plan to use the document.
Yes, sworn translators can work from copies, but they must note in the translation that it was made from a copy. Some institutions may not accept translations from copies. Always check with the requesting institution before ordering. If you need the translation from an original, you can send it by mail or bring it to our office.
In Poland, sworn translation by an accredited translator is sufficient for most official purposes. Notarial translations are rare and usually only required by foreign institutions. A sworn translation has the translator's official stamp and signature. A notarial translation additionally requires notary certification, which adds time and cost.
Pricing is calculated per page of the target (translated) document. One standard page = 1,125 characters with spaces. Each started page counts as a full page. Rates vary by language pair (e.g., English-Polish vs Ukrainian-Polish). Contact us with your documents for an accurate quote.

For Marketing Agencies

Yes. A significant portion of our clients are marketing agencies who need reliable Polish language services for their clients. We understand agency workflows, tight deadlines, and the importance of maintaining brand voice. We're set up to be your behind-the-scenes language partner.
Absolutely. Many agencies present our work as their own, and we're completely comfortable with that arrangement. We work invisibly in the background, communicate directly with you (not your clients), and deliver files without Aploq branding. Your clients never need to know we exist.
We have in-house linguists available for rush projects and are accustomed to the fast pace of marketing campaigns. We can often accommodate same-day or next-day turnaround for shorter content like ads, social posts, or email subject lines. For larger projects, we'll work with you to meet your launch dates.
Yes. We offer preferential rates for agencies with regular volume or retainer arrangements. We can set up monthly retainers, dedicated account management, and priority turnaround. This makes it easy to build language services into your client proposals with predictable costs. Contact us to discuss partnership options.
Yes. When you're pitching Polish market expansion to clients, we can provide cost estimates, timeline projections, and market insights to strengthen your proposals. We can also create sample localizations to demonstrate value. We're partners in winning and delivering work.
